ACountAPill — medication reminders with accountability. Effective July 31, 2026
ACountAPill collects only the information needed to provide medication reminders and accountability features: your account details, the medications you choose to track, your recorded responses, and the contact details of any ACountAPill partners you designate.
We do not sell personal information. Reminder-delivery preferences and ACountAPill partner contact details are stored securely and are used only to deliver the notifications you configure.
Messages you receive
Reminders and partner notifications are sent by email from notify@acountapill.com and, where you have provided a mobile number, by SMS. Message frequency depends on the schedules you set. Message and data rates may apply to SMS.
Before you add an ACountAPill partner, you confirm that you have their permission to send them notifications on your behalf.
Opting out and pausing
You and your ACountAPill partners can stop messages at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to opt that phone number out of SMS, or use the unsubscribe link in any email to opt that address out. Replying START re-subscribes a number.
Signed-in users can also pause all reminders for a chosen period, or turn SMS and email off per channel, in Settings. Opt-out status is recorded per person and per channel and is respected before every send.
If you cancel your plan, reminder messages stop automatically for you and for your ACountAPill partners.
Retention, access, and deletion
Your medication history is kept while your account is active so that you and your partners can review it. Cancelling stops messages but keeps your data so you can reactivate later. You may request an export or full deletion of your data at any time by contacting notify@acountapill.com.
ACountAPill is a reminder and accountability tool, not a medical service. This document is maintained by the ACountAPill team and will be updated as the product changes.
