Terms of Use

ACountAPill — medication reminders with accountability. Effective July 31, 2026

ACountAPill is a support tool that provides medication reminders and helps record whether medication was taken. It is not a medical device, medical service, or emergency-response service, and it is not designed to replace your memory or judgment — only to assist and support it.

By using ACountAPill you agree to follow prescribed instructions from your physician or pharmacist and to use the service as a secondary reference only. You are responsible for the accuracy of the medications, schedules, and ACountAPill partner contacts you enter.

ACountAPill partners

An ACountAPill partner is a person you choose to be notified about your medication activity. By adding a partner you confirm you have their permission to send them notifications. You may designate up to 2 partners on the Premium plan, plus 2 more with the additional-capacity add-on ($1.99 per month or $19.99 per year), for a maximum of 4.

Messaging, opt-out, and pausing

Reminders and partner notifications are delivered by email and, where a mobile number is provided, by SMS. Message frequency varies with your schedules; message and data rates may apply. Anyone receiving texts can reply STOP to opt out, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Signed-in users can also pause reminders for a period of time or disable a channel in Settings.

Plans and cancellation

You may cancel at any time from Settings. On cancellation, reminder messages stop automatically for you and for your ACountAPill partners. Your records are retained so you can reactivate later, and you can request deletion at any time.

Availability

We work to deliver reminders reliably, but delivery depends on email and mobile carriers and cannot be guaranteed. Do not rely on ACountAPill in an emergency — contact your local emergency services or your healthcare provider.
